How do I find new French books?
Our web site is a good place to start! You can search by "category", by "title", by "author", by "ISBN" and by "keyword". Please note that we only display RECENTLY published books on our web site. If you are looking for older books or books on a specific topic (and don't need to limit yourself to recent books), please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
I am having problems filling out my customer information form. What can I do?
If you are having difficulty filling out a form, you may have to enable cookies in your browser. Schools often have cookies disabled on their browsers. If you enabled cookies and are still encountering problems , please call us and we will be happy to help. In fact, if you need help enabling cookies, feel free to call too!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, cheques, visa-debit and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). We also accept Purchase Orders from educational institutions.
Do you offer discounts?
On large orders, we offer a 10% discount to teachers and librarians on most French books (fiction and non-fiction), our Top 10 book bundles, CDs and DVDs.
Do you keep all your items in stock?
We keep many of our cash and carry products in stock and these are generally shipped within 24 hours. Most of our books, however, are ordered from our over 100 suppliers in Quebec and France and are shipped within a period of two to three weeks. French Language Resources cannot be held liable for failing to meet posted delivery times resulting from a shortage of stock or caused by the carrier under any circumstances.
If a supplier informs us that an item that has been ordered is no longer available, we will contact you immediately.
What are your shipping & handling charges and how are they calculated?
Shipping and handling charges are usually an additional 5% of the order (minimum $5).
What is your return/exchange policy?
If an item is found to be defective, or does not correspond to what was ordered, it may be returned in its original unused condition. Your must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.

Some items can not be returned if they are opened. These include music, reproducible materials, textbooks and activity books.
Items returned for another reason are subject to a 10% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order. French Language Resources is not responsible for products lost during return shipping.
